Tum Pagal Ho…

These were the first words my mother said to me when I told her I wanted to quit my job and serve a trial period at a digital media agency.

I convinced her to let me take the risk because I was sick and tired of the 9-5 routine life that everyone else has.

I already knew that the office was situated in an apartment but didn’t realize that the road leading to the building made it look as if I was travelling somewhere outside the city. Stepping inside the office, I was pointed to a sofa where I had to wait for some time.

Sitting there I started analyzing the environment. There was a cardboard figure of a donkey wearing sunglasses on my left and an obnoxiously fat guy holding a guitar on my right.

And my mother’s comment came back and hit me again…
